Hoppy Easter

My mom and Gamma took me to my first easter egg hunt at Bond Park last Sunday.  Daddy would have loved to come but he was hard at work recruiting in Dallas, Texas.  Mom insisted on dressing me in this beautiful outfit Nana and Papa Tom bought for me!  I really loved my bunny basket...how do you get the eggs in here??

All the kids were jealous that I got to go out into the field before the easter bunny gave the countdown...Gamma assured them I would not take any eggs!

We got to go see my Uncle Jeff coach the varsity girls team at Cary Academy.  I had a blast playing with my cousins and enjoying the warm weather!

Matthew really likes sharing his toys with me.

Since Daddy's games are right around my bedtime, I haven't been able to go to one yet.  But I still like to show my Wolfpack pride!

Mom walked out for one minute and came back to this! :)

Splish Splash

My favorite time of the day is bath time.  No matter how stressful my day has been, those warm suds really know how to make me relax.  I have figured out that I can splash my arms and get people very wet!

Wolfpack

I finally got to see where Daddy works at NC State.  His office is awesome and there is RED everywhere.

This one's for you Matty Wolf!!

I wasn't even nervous around this guy...kind of reminded me of Riley...with slightly larger teeth.  I miss her and can't wait for her to come to North Carolina.

We went on a picnic on Saturday to Bond Park.  There is a beautiful lake and lots of walking trails.

I was fascinated by the grass and liked to pull it up with my chubby fingers.  I don't know why they didn't let me eat it!

I am one loved little boy!

Spring Swings

I had a great time playing with my new buddy Cameron.  His mom Julie went to Xavier with my mom!  Small world!  He is already crawling and pulling to stand so he can teach me some new tricks.  Every time I'm next to somebody my size I like to put my arm on their back or hold their hand to provide a little comfort. :)

Hey buddy get back here!!

Cameron was really nice and shared all his toys with me.  Of course, I loved the fake food!

We took a walk down to the park and I got to go on my first swinging adventure!

I did a great job keeping my balance.

Boy was I tired and hot by the end!  I took a great nap that afternoon...mom loved it!

Let's Flip!

Mom finally figured out how to upload and share videos from the flip camera Aunt GG gave us!  Now let's travel back in time to a very special scene from "A Costa Christmas 2010" entitled "The Grinch."

Spring is Here

Hi Everyone,
Well we have now been officially living in Cary, North Carolina for 2 weeks!  So far it's been great...I mean who can complain about sunny skies and 70-80 degree weather (well most days)!  Mom and Dad took me on my first jog...I really enjoyed myself.  Sometimes they would stop to rest but I just told them to keep on moving!  A special shout-out to my Aunt Maria and Uncle Jeff for giving us this stroller!

I'm getting really good at sitting and playing without help...but sometimes when mom walks away I like to surprise her and magically transition to my tummy.

We went to visit Daddy for the first time at work and decided it would be fun to go to lunch on campus!  We went to a really cool restaurant in an old bar and had a delicious lunch.  I even got to sit in a high chair for awhile.  Dad was also very excited about how inexpensive the price for lunch was! :)

After lunch Daddy wanted to bring me back to his office so I could meet his friends.  (Mom was even going to try to sneak a picture of me on the stuffed wolf for my buddy Matty :) ).Unfortunately, we discovered we had parked in a lot without a special pass and our car had been towed!  Gotta love college campuses!  Mom and Dad were able to laugh about our "expensive lunch" that night.  Hopefully I'll get to go see where Dad works soon.

Then Gamma came to visit and boy were we busy!  I had to help pick out carpet, tile, wood floors, granite countertops, new light fixtures, and paint.  It was fun but exhausting!  Dad would have been proud...we went to his favorite store!

Gamma was also a big help and got us all settled into our new place!  Are we cute or what??

We went for a great walk around Gamma's new lake and ate at a yummy Mexican cafe.  Well, I had delicious bananas.

The flowers are popping up like crazy here!  Mom loves tulips and had no idea there were "tulip trees"!

Ok I gotta go watch some college basketball now!  Sad that Xavier lost but rooting for Butler!

Movin' on up

Hi Everyone! Well, we have arrived in sunny North Carolina. Mom has been pretty busy unpacking so I don't have any pictures of my new place yet...but I'll just post some of me instead. Before I left town, I tried to see as many friends as I could. I had my first playdate with mommy's friend Jessica from high school and her little girl! Maddie and I were born on the exact same day. I thought she was pretty cute...and I even tried to hold her hand a couple times!

Then I got to see mommy's best friend Sara and her little guy Matty.  So, maybe I was a little hungry...but his hand looked like a giant pacifier.  Mom thinks it's so amazing that she and Sara have two boys that are so close together in age.  I sure hope they come see us this summer...and maybe Matty and me can play together on the beach!

Gamma, mommy, and I went for some nice walks since the weather was just getting warmer. Gamma sure is proud when she pushes me down the street in her "pambulator". I must say it's pretty comfy in there, especially with that pillow to lay on. And mom sure does love hats on me.

I told mommy and daddy that I would just drive to North Carolina, but they thought it would be easier if we flew on a plane.

I thought I would get ready for all the sunshine and try on my new shades. Mom can't believe I actually left them on, but I know when I look good.

I was a big helper on moving day. I bounced in my jumperoo and helped direct the moving guys. When daddy claps, I can't help but bounce faster and higher! Can you believe they even fit our car inside the big truck?

We had to take 2 plane rides to get to Raleigh. Boy was I exhausted. Mom says I did a great job on the plane (I mean I only had one blow-out...those airplane changing tables are pretty small!). So far Cary is really beautiful, although we definitely miss Indy! We've been pretty busy since we got here. I got to go to my cousin Matthew's first birthday party today! I couldn't stop giggling when the kids hit the pinata. Then we went for our first family run in the afternoon since it was 76 degrees outside. I'll be sure to post more pictures soon. Mom is still trying to hunt down her camera. Gamma is coming to visit on Wednesday... I can't wait to hug her. It will be so fun seeing her new townhouse!

This is Nicholas, signing off for tonight. Stay tuned!
