Let's Flip!
Mom finally figured out how to upload and share videos from the flip camera Aunt GG gave us! Now let's travel back in time to a very special scene from "A Costa Christmas 2010" entitled "The Grinch."

Spring is Here
Hi Everyone,
Well we have now been officially living in Cary, North Carolina for 2 weeks! So far it's been great...I mean who can complain about sunny skies and 70-80 degree weather (well most days)! Mom and Dad took me on my first jog...I really enjoyed myself. Sometimes they would stop to rest but I just told them to keep on moving! A special shout-out to my Aunt Maria and Uncle Jeff for giving us this stroller!
We went to visit Daddy for the first time at work and decided it would be fun to go to lunch on campus! We went to a really cool restaurant in an old bar and had a delicious lunch. I even got to sit in a high chair for awhile. Dad was also very excited about how inexpensive the price for lunch was! :)
Ok I gotta go watch some college basketball now! Sad that Xavier lost but rooting for Butler!

I'm getting really good at sitting and playing without help...but sometimes when mom walks away I like to surprise her and magically transition to my tummy.

After lunch Daddy wanted to bring me back to his office so I could meet his friends. (Mom was even going to try to sneak a picture of me on the stuffed wolf for my buddy Matty :) ).Unfortunately, we discovered we had parked in a lot without a special pass and our car had been towed! Gotta love college campuses! Mom and Dad were able to laugh about our "expensive lunch" that night. Hopefully I'll get to go see where Dad works soon.
Then Gamma came to visit and boy were we busy! I had to help pick out carpet, tile, wood floors, granite countertops, new light fixtures, and paint. It was fun but exhausting! Dad would have been proud...we went to his favorite store!
Gamma was also a big help and got us all settled into our new place! Are we cute or what??
We went for a great walk around Gamma's new lake and ate at a yummy Mexican cafe. Well, I had delicious bananas.
The flowers are popping up like crazy here! Mom loves tulips and had no idea there were "tulip trees"!

Movin' on up
Hi Everyone! Well, we have arrived in sunny North Carolina. Mom has been pretty busy unpacking so I don't have any pictures of my new place yet...but I'll just post some of me instead. Before I left town, I tried to see as many friends as I could. I had my first playdate with mommy's friend Jessica from high school and her little girl! Maddie and I were born on the exact same day. I thought she was pretty cute...and I even tried to hold her hand a couple times!

Then I got to see mommy's best friend Sara and her little guy Matty. So, maybe I was a little hungry...but his hand looked like a giant pacifier. Mom thinks it's so amazing that she and Sara have two boys that are so close together in age. I sure hope they come see us this summer...and maybe Matty and me can play together on the beach!

I told mommy and daddy that I would just drive to North Carolina, but they thought it would be easier if we flew on a plane.

I was a big helper on moving day. I bounced in my jumperoo and helped direct the moving guys. When daddy claps, I can't help but bounce faster and higher! Can you believe they even fit our car inside the big truck?

We had to take 2 plane rides to get to Raleigh. Boy was I exhausted. Mom says I did a great job on the plane (I mean I only had one blow-out...those airplane changing tables are pretty small!). So far Cary is really beautiful, although we definitely miss Indy! We've been pretty busy since we got here. I got to go to my cousin Matthew's first birthday party today! I couldn't stop giggling when the kids hit the pinata. Then we went for our first family run in the afternoon since it was 76 degrees outside. I'll be sure to post more pictures soon. Mom is still trying to hunt down her camera. Gamma is coming to visit on Wednesday... I can't wait to hug her. It will be so fun seeing her new townhouse!

This is Nicholas, signing off for tonight. Stay tuned!

Gamma, mommy, and I went for some nice walks since the weather was just getting warmer. Gamma sure is proud when she pushes me down the street in her "pambulator". I must say it's pretty comfy in there, especially with that pillow to lay on. And mom sure does love hats on me.

I thought I would get ready for all the sunshine and try on my new shades. Mom can't believe I actually left them on, but I know when I look good.

Costa's on the move

Thanks to encouragement from mommy's best friend, Sara, we have started a blog! I'm so glad mom is letting me write this blog. It's a great way to express my thoughts and feelings when I just can't communicate them in words quite yet. Well, as many of you know, we have a big move coming up. Daddy got an awesome job as assistant coach of men's soccer at NC State. He is working with the previous head coach at Butler, Kelly Findley. We decided it would be a great opportunity for our family. Plus, it works out pretty well for me since I get to see my cousins Kate and Matthew all the time now. We are so proud of Daddy! Mommy is sad to leave her friends and family in Indy, but we are so excited about this new adventure. We decided to rent a nice apartment in Cary until we find just the perfect place. Daddy wants a big backyard so we can play soccer together. Gamma and Grandpa already bought a place in Cary. I guess they just can't stand to be away from me for too long. It's a townhome in a beautiful neighborhood and it's right next to a lake. I can't wait to go for long walks around the lake with Gamma. Did I mention Nana and Papa Tom will also live just about 30 minutes from us?? I can't wait to swim in their pool. Nana really spoils me when I'm around and she can't get enough of me naked. Boy do I love being naked...I think I really shined in my latest 6-month photo shoot. I've included a few photos. But I digress. Well, I should get to bed since it's pretty late. I'll be sure to post soon to tell you all about our move and show you pics of our new place.
