Birthdaypalooza Round One

Every July there is a week known as Birthdaypalooza to celebrate Uncle Jeff and Aunt Gina.  This was our first year participating and it did not disappoint!

This family loves pinatas!  Note Aunt Gina's special purse...it was filled with all of her loves: bandaids, hand lotion, some bling (rings), stain removers, and chocolate!

Go Matthew!

Go Daddy!

We had lots of cake that week...Uncle Jeff had a special tiramasu cake and of course Aunt G's signature ice cream cake from Goodberry's.  Yum!

I have the world's best doodle...she doesn't mind me climbing all over her, pulling her hair (although I'm getting better at patting), or grabbing her collar.  We love you Riley!

I am a very smart boy and quickly figured out my video monitor was attached to my crib...mom and dad found it quite humorous to wake up to my face looking at them.

Stay tuned for pictures from my FIRST birthday!

Indiananicholas

We went to visit Gamma and Grandpa for 10 days in July...we had a great time even though it was just as hot as North Carolina!

How cute are we?  I'm definitely part Lemons.

We had a great visit with Sara, Marcy, and Matthew.  I was just starting to show off some new skills...

Matthew was able to sit and play all by himself...I was pretty impressed.  But I did NOT like it when he tried to touch me. :)

I crawled up a step for the first time...

And I learned how to pull to stand on just about everything.  I loved this new skill so much that for weeks I would wake up several times a night and stand in my crib...mom is very happy that "phase" is over.

Surveying my kingdom.

Mom and Dad had a little time to squeeze in some fishing...

I loved the beach...and the grass.

I was an excellent baby on the first flight...but mom has learned to only go direct when flying solo with me. :)

Fun With Nonni

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile...we've been having a busy summer!  We just moved into Gamma's and Grampa's condo while we wait for our house to sell in Indy.  The apartment was nice but we love being in such a beautiful location on the lake.  We are settling in nicely and mom is very proud I'm sleeping so well...most of the time.

Here are some pics from a visit with my Great-Grandma "Nonni" in July.  She thinks I'm getting pretty heavy to carry!

When Kate was learning how to talk, she pronounced "Nonni" as "NoNo".  I wonder what I will call her. :)

Nonni loves to teach us new things.

Our moms really love to dress us alike!  We are not as thrilled with the idea.

Kate tried to teach us how to pose...

I'm already a momma's boy.

What? She likes it when I do this. :)

Crawling Video

My first time crawling all the way across the room at Nana and Papa Tom's house.  Enjoy!

A Crawling Costa

Well, as most of you heard...I'm a crawling baby now!  I finally figured out how to move my legs in unison with my arms...watch out world!

This is my favorite game...mom can't stack the cups fast enough before I knock them over.

Mommy and I took a yoga class together...and she thought I was too little to learn some of those poses.

Here are a few pics of our apartment.  As you can see, mom and dad had to buy a "super-yard" to keep me contained.  We will be in this apartment for 2 more months...and then will either be renting or buying a new house.  Time flies!

 Mom and dad's room

Guest Room

And my room...thank goodness for room darkening shades in this sunny climate.

Dad misses grilling out...so we decided to do it indoors one night.

We went to the farmer's market in Raleigh recently...it was very impressive.  All the local farms come to sell their yummy fruits and veggies.  I helped mom hold the tomatoes.

Beach Babies

My buddy Matthew Wolf came to visit recently!  It was my first time hosting a sleep-over.  We wore eachother out with lots of playing.  Our moms think we look alike...well, maybe not exactly the same size though.

We got to stay for a night at the condo with Matty and his family at Wrightsville Beach!

For Father's Day, we ate breakfast at Mike's favorite diner...The Causeway Cafe.  He is very passionate about breakfast...kind of reminds me of someone else we know.

It was worth the wait...yum!

A great pic of me and Marcy!

I told Matthew to stay awake when the camera is shooting...but he didn't listen. :)

I was pretty gentle with Matthew...

except for a few sneak-attack wrestling moves.

It was really windy on the beach that day...but I loved sitting in the shallow water and picking up the sand.

Thank you Wolf's for a great weekend!
